Important note about AAX plug-ins: Pro Tools|HDX uses the new AAX plug-in format, which provides better workflow and sound parity between Pro Tools DSP-accelerated and native-based systems. Pro Tools|HDX comes and works with two flavors of AAX plug-ins—AAX DSP, which uses the HDX card for processing, and AAX Native, which uses power from your host computer’s processors—as well as with RTAS and AudioSuite (TDM is not supported).
